7 and 5 to lead 2, 3 and 4. Was keen on EYE OF THE FIRE two weeks ago and it wasn't to be but there's no shame in 2nd to Bev's Nine, a galloper that stands unbeaten both in four races and all trials. Up in grade and nicely down in weight here. ROSELYN'S STAR from O'Shea/Charlton (stable of Bev's Nine) and perhaps could be the stumbling block for EYE. She was rock-solid 1st-up at Gold Coast and should stalk with intent here. McDonald gets on him for the first time (in a race anyway, he has trialed him a couple of times). SIXTIES last seen in the Golden Rose and is a 3YO of some quality so knock his way either.
