Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 4-1-9-3
Let's see who we end up with here. As of preview time most of them - 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 13 - are all with other options. 5 and 6 to lead it; I'm fairly confident about that aspect of the race. NITRO was slow to go and out back early 1st-up. All told that was a meritorious run but obviously we want to see him jump cleanly this time. The horse went to Gosford to trial on Oct 28 and jumped better, though still didn't ping out. ESMAHLI obviously one to respect highly if here instead of Flemington.
