Seven race card at Rockhampton. Looking at the BOM expectations high that the track remains soft. Shout out to the club for getting their acceptances done much much much quicker than was the case for the midweek meet in Brisbane (2 hours plus) and the Friday meet at the Sunny Coast (two and a half hours plus). Kick things off with a 1200m QTIS Maiden Hcp. The map says no's 3 and 5 set the pace, 10 stalks. The lightly raced BETTY'S BOY ventures out of SE Qld for the first time, was very well supported when 3rd home on debut. Although home 6th at next start was only about 1/2 length from the runner-up. PULSATING has placed all three since migrating from Victoria, latter two for Jamie McConachy. PROVISEUR invariably thereabouts, was only half a length off Pulsating when they met last start. LITTLE KHAN was friendless in the betting when a close 4th at The Moonee Valley of The North when on debut. RADOMIR freshened new blood, now calls Rockhampton home. Respect betting for now.
