BILLY (2) is learning the craft, and has been a beaten favourite in his last 2 starts over hurdles. He looks ready to break through in this, even though the field is a decent one. OVERDRAFT (4) made an encouraging hurdle debut at Woodville when finishing second as the favourite there nearly 3 weeks ago. He is only lightly tried on the flat, and will have plenty more to offer in this role. Can win. SIR MIKKI (6) was a cautious jumper when making his hurdle debut in the same race as the second pick, and he would have learned a lot from the experience. Hard to beat in this. DOCTOR LIVINGSTONE (7) has shown talent in this role, and if he can jump safely, then he could even take this out. SIDETRACK (9) won his debut on the flat at Avondale, and he will be well schooled in this discipline. Stick with him.
