BAGGIO (1) has looked likely in his last couple of starts, but always seems to find something stronger at the end. He steps up to a middle distance for the first time and could finally have his day in the sun. WARRIOR BOY (2) steps out beyond a mile for the first time in his career, and he maps to receive the run of the race from the pole position. He is sure to be well supported in the market, and he can take this out. AVIVA (7) made up a lot of ground when finishing in the money for the first time this prep at Timaru a month ago on a heavy track. She copes with a poly track, and she can go one better in this. DE PAZZI (9) ran a much better race when finishing fourth in the same race as the third pick a month ago, and she is trying the poly track here for the first time. Stick with her. DANIELLISH (10) has been fairly disappointing overall, but she has needed time to strengthen up. We are giving her one more chance. Include in all top 4 combos to be safe.
