Not a great depth of speed here. I can see 10 and 4 crossing up front. 6 and 5 set up nice and handy. Three main chances for me. MAYFAIR placed 3rd in the Silver Eagle at the top of last prep. That sort of performance will take him a long way here. Liked his finish in his second trial (June 12) albeit he was hard ridden to do so. BUSTLING a former 2YO star in WA and has come back from his long break with two nice Melbourne appearances. I guess they may have hoped for a lower draw? SUNSHINEINMYPOCKET was emphatic when fresh in QLD last start. He had an extremely quiet trial back in Sydney just last week.
