8 geldings/4 fillies in this 3YO contest. Not a lot of speed in it even if they are all here but we note that 2, 3, 6, 7 and 11 all accepted interstate as well. So what have we got? 1 and 3 were both prominent from inside barriers last start and I fancy they will have to cross up today and set the tempo. I even have SUNSPRITE settling handy from her draw and she has not taken that approach as yet. Nock won't use any of that claim but the filly looks ominous going to 2000m. EYNESBURY is from that same race and he too looks to the added trip as a positive. He was in a reasonable pozzie to the turn last start and then lost all momentum at a crucial stage.
