Randwick was an improving Soft 7 as acceptances were taken midweek. Our forecast promises a fine lead-up to the weekend so absolutely expecting the surface to get all the way back to Good and our rail is placed at the 6 metre position. Saturday itself looks ideal, with a high of 28 degrees forecast. We kick off with 2YOs. HOME AND DRY (stablemate of 2025 Slipper winner Marhoona and last Saturday's 2YO winner Outspan) improved to lead throughout her latest trial, with SEQUINNED just a half length off. ZAMBALES (a half to Everest runner-up Tempted) was scratched from a wet Rosehill last week and will have plenty to say about this result after a winning trial late in December.
