SURF'S UP refused to shirk her task in defeat here on the course proper last start when she was competing after a thirty-eight day break in a race that's produced strong form. This quicker back-up must now be regarded as a plus. DEEP PLEASURE was kept fresh before she was solid at Warwick Farm third up. She presents fresh again today and she still has scope to improve. VIRGIL'S GIFT and CONCORDIA WIND both present second up. They will both be suited by the distance rise that now awaits CHERISH ME will be making her Sydney debut third up and she should not be harshly judged for an unplaced latest Caufield effort when there were excuses.
