On pace runners, 3, 4, 9, 10. PERCOLATE was responsible for a game first up winning performance at Tuncurry on a heavy track before she found the opposition too strong second up at Hawkesbury. Returning to the country circuit clearly opens the door to improvement here. GODWITS must be forgiven for an unplaced Parkes effort last start when he struck traffic problems. He did win his maiden on debut on a heavy Ballarat surface back in August, 2024 and he can make his presence felt here. THE BENTLEY and HEMSTED are stablemates who can be expected to maintain their consistent recent form today.
