DUN TALKIN' (2) found the line strongly when finishing runner-up over this trip at Te Aroha nearly 3 weeks ago in heavy ground. He may already be looking for more ground, but on a heavy track, he can get away with another run over 1600m. On top for us. THE MAILMAN (3) just missed the bob of the head at Te Aroha last start, and he is overdue to go one better. Hard to beat, despite copping a wide gate. DA ACE (1) has not run a bad race in his last 5 starts, and he is another well-fancied runner with a wide draw. He won't lack fitness, and his first win is not far away. MUCHACHA (9) tried hard on a track that was firmer than she preferred at Tauranga nearly 4 weeks ago, and she will relish stepping out to 1600m for the first time. Each way. PAPER ROMANCE (6) is a 5YO gelding only having his third start, and he should be at his peak fitness now. With the right run, he is a top 4 chance.
