State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 1-4-13-3
ASTRODEAN was given a letup after going down narrowly at Naracoorte in August. If he can run up to that performance, he'll be around the mark here. DAZELLES was runner-up to Bonfire Girl at Strathalbyn last month. She'll carry 56.5kg after Jordyn Weatherley's claim. LYSANDER ran a much-improved race to finish second to Immortal Spirit at Halidon on Sunday. CASINO SHOWGIRL (formerly trained by Will Clarken & Charlotte Sorby) could show up fresh without surprising. Best of the rest look to be SPORTS CHOICE (drawn awkwardly) and STATE OF MAINE (failed to see out the 1600m trip at latest).
