FERRARI MAN concedes weight to all but his effort over this distance last start at Orange with claiming apprentice Dale Cole aboard was good enough in a race that's produced solid form, to suggest that he can cope with the task to be faced today, aided again by a claim with Dale retaining the ride. GEOSTORM handed in a more than honest front-running effort when he stepped back up to this distance at Queanbeyan last start. Similar tactics can be adopted here.
