The speed for this 2000m race is unclear. MR BANNOCK was jumping out like he'd improved since his first campaign and that's exactly how he's racing. After two solid performances at 1500m and 1800m he now gets to a trip that's close to his only winning distance. He's very well placed in a 0-62. CROSSOVERKID ran well 1st up in a race that has provided two subsequent winners. He'll be better suited to a big track like this. FLAMING MOON brings some NSW form which is very difficult to line up. The Orange win looked good. KOKONOTSU hasn't been disgraced of late on the country cup circuit. He's still a Victorian maiden. ALMAGO won nicely 1st up. Her upside cannot be ignored. CONVO is in great form and her turn is due. She's sat on good speeds of late so she might go forward from that wide draw. TOWNTOTOWN got her tongue over the bit last time.
