AVENUE MONTAIGNE gets her chance after two sound efforts this time around. The form from her last start placing here gets a test in race 1 tonight via Top Liner. She had every possible chance 1st up but that form has worked out to be hot. Blinkers go on. ADIRA RIVER showed glimpses in her first prep. She's a daughter of Caulfield Cup winner Jameka. Liked her latest jump out so she might've improved. EMANATING had a couple of lengths to spare on VESPERS when they clashed at Geelong. VESPERS has run ok here since on heavy ground. Doubt there's much between them. Let the betting sort out the new-comers. SHINY DIAMOND's work has been on wet tracks. Very wary.
