With no established leader engaged, ST ROY can take full advantage of barrier one and create his own luck in transit. He displayed determination to prevail over this distance with Jacob Stiff aboard last start at Gilgandra and this race is also within his reach with Jacob retaining the ride today. PRESS GAZE caused his own problems with an awkward getaway at Cowra last start. HIs previous Parkes effort over this distance was very solid and he can regain his best form today without causing a surprise. ADVISOR was honest behind ST ROY at Gilgandra when he started at huge odds. A repeat performance would allow him to play a part again today. DIVINE SINNER and GETTIN' TIPSY are also worthy of consideration.
