On pace runners 3 and 5. FLASHY ICON has been good all 3 runs this time in. He should get the lovely run from barrier 1 but is a slight query at the 2100 metres. JIMMY MANOLO is one who will have no trouble with the distance. He's had 3 runs back from a spell now and looks ready to win. DRUNKEN SAILOR gets a big drop in grade here but he too is yet to win beyond 1600 metres. BILLABONG ALVIN the likely leader was impressive at Wellington last start over 1700 metres and will give a sight.
