State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).

On pace runners 6 and 10. POWERFUL PRAYER has been close up his past 2 starts at the Provincials in stronger grade. He looks well suited here but just the 1 win from 16 starts which is some concern. BABYFACED ASSASSIN had a tough run 3rd up at Canberra before battling on really well. He should get every chance here from barrier 2. LIYAH'S GIRL finished just behind Babyfaced Assassin in that same race so looks the other main chance. MERITAGE best of the rest.
