A warm and fine weekend is forecast for Narromine and we will be racing on a Good surface. The day opens with a 1300m Maiden and we can see 8 and 6 lead this. SMART SCUD settled last on debut and in a race the winner led. He really was only starting to warm up right at the end of things and I can see the 1300m being much better for him. CASTRO has no get up and go early in his races so unless there is a revolution in his approach he will be back there again. Placed five of six this prep though so must rate as a winning chance in this lineup.
