On pace runners, 1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 14. SHARP REMARK performed well above market place expectations at Wangaratta when she stepped up to tackle this distance at only her second run in her first campaign. Natural improvement can now be expected. FOUR ESSES kept trying in defeat after she endured a tough run in transit at Gundagai. In the process, she indicated that she should now relish an awaiting distance rise. I'VE FORGOTTEN was competing for only the second time in his first campaign when his unplaced Albury effort over 1175m was better than it appears on paper. He's another who can now appreciate this longer distance. CLASSIC CRACKER struck early trouble at MIldura and her unplaced effort must be overlooked.
