State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 4-1-6-3
FROSE drops in grade after finishing a close fourth at Bendigo a fortnight ago. Kayla Crowther takes the ride from gate 4. SPIKE ALMIGHTY found the 900m trip too short when resuming at Mount Gambier. A solid tempo up front here will help his chances. SHOWTIME KISTENA (formerly trained by Heath Maclean) won a 1000m Horsham jumpout last month. She can show up fresh without surprising. GOPHER FRANK was just behind the placegetters at Bordertown when second up last time in work. AMBELLO has finished in the placings at his past couple but will need luck from an awkward draw.
