INITIAL MOMENT was not disgraced when resuming over a mile at Werribee. She's much better suited rising to 2000m and she can take up a position handy to the speed from a good draw. Stablemate COSMIC broke through for a win in a Warrnambool maiden last month and has been kept fresh for this. PALACE GREEN was runner-up to Gold Topaz at Bordertown when first-up in November. He was tuned up for this running third in a 1200m Geelong trial on 27/1. HIT THE SLOPES hasn't won for a long time but his effort at Oakbank last time was sound.
