BEAUTY EDGE can lead this field from COMMANDO JACK with SIDENAY, TO BE FRANK and EXTREME MERGER then thereabouts. DRUNKEN SAILOR shouldn't be harshly judged for an unplaced latest Wyong effort and he can regain his best form here. COMMANDO JACK will again figure in the finish with a repeat of a solid Muswellbrook effort last start when he was presented after a four week break. This quicker back-up is a plus. WASTED DAYS struck traffic problems at Randwick third up and he is much more suitably placed when he tackles a distance rise today. BEAUTY EDGE traveled too keenly at home (Dubbo) last start and he will have scope to improve when he now makes his Mudgee debut. THE MANAGER begins another campaign today after two lead-up trials and he can cope over this testing distance first up. A BOY NAMED SOO was dominant first up at Dubbo in a race that's produced solid form and returning to his home base today can only aid his cause.
