PLACO has performed well in both runs back from a spell and will strip fitter again. A wet track is in his favour and he's unbeaten on this track. YAM comes into this off the back of a win at Caulfield. He loves wet tracks and has drawn to get a good run from barrier 5. BRAVE STAR has finished in the placings at his past couple of runs, both under hefty imposts. This is harder but the big drop in weight will assist. I CATCHEM FOX can take up a position on or close to the speed. He won well when rising to this trip last start. MYSTIC WONDER and ORIENTAL SMOKE are others with claims.
