LONGER ROUTE was narrowly beaten at Mildura at his fourth run back from a spell. He gets his chance to go one better here and he'll carry 58kg after the claim. RIKKI RIKKARDO got the money at Murray Bridge two starts ago. She struck a heavy 10 track and was off a quick backup when midfield behind Prickly Poppy last time. HIGH SOCIETY GIRL was not faraway in the finish at Money Bridge when rising to 2000m. Any give in the ground is a plus for her. EIGHT ON THE DOT is down in class after finishing fifth in a bm78 last time. LAFONT is better than recent efforts suggest and can improve.
