At the time of writing (Tuesday) the track is rated a soft 5 and with fine weather forecast there's the chance of an upgrade. COAL SEAM scored well here on debut before just missing at Rocky first up last prep. He was again good in the Capricornia Classic before the break and has tuned up for this with a trial win. ALBERTA BOUND has a fitness edge on him and is overdue another win. BOOMIOUS battled rising in grade last time but had been coming along well prior. The debutante REVES TIME draws kindly and placed in her only trial.
