At the time of writing (Wednesday) the track is rated a soft 5 and with light rain forecast race day there should be some give in the surface. THE BARBER was kept safe and finished off strongly to score on debut. He'll only be improved and can remain unbeaten. WASABI BARBIE will be fitter for two runs back from a break and drops in class on the latest. BLESSED ROOM was much improved when scoring here at her third attempt and has plenty of scope for further improvement. The other three runners look to have minor claims only.
