LAUNNIE NIGHTS led and gave a big sight in an improved showing two starts ago, then was too strong after box-seating last time. He can hold the front from the inside gate and take plenty of wearing down again. His stablemate ALPINE BLAST was game in the placings at his first two runs back from a freshen before getting too far back last time. GEE GEE CAN WIN closed well to place fresh and was successful at his only other try this route. I'M CHEV has scored at two of three tries this trip but his best results thus far have been on synthetic.
