On pace runners, 1, 5, 10, 12. NAVY KISS became unsuited in transit on debut at the Gold Coast. He refused to shirk his task in defeat and natural improvement can now be expected. DANCING TILDA was solid within this distance range on a heavy Taree surface last start and he can maintain his form today, fifth up. PACIFIC REEL struck major traffic problems at Coffs Harbour and his unplaced effort must be overlooked. GENERAL GORDON was spelled after there were excuses for an unplaced debut effort at Ballina. He can return to the races today as an improved three-year-old.
