PHOENIX POWER endured a tough run at Port Macquarie before he refused to shirk his task. The addition of winkers can now aid his cause. FIVE RINGS finished unplaced first up at Ballina but his effort was better than it appears at face value and he can only now present race-fitter. OUR SILVER LININGS finished unplaced here after a twenty-five day break last start but he shouldn't be underestimated today when he presents after a quicker back-up. CUTTING EDGE struck traffic problems last start at Grafton and he shouldn't be harshly judged for finishing unplaced on the day.
