Ipswich Racecourse was first established in 1890 and was originally known as the Bundamba Racecourse. It is run by the Ipswich Turf Club. The track has a circumference of 1746 metres and a 300-metre-long straight. The Ipswich Cup is an open handicap race worth $200,000 in prize money.
