On pace runners, 2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11. THREE RED CHOOKS was produced on debut when she handed in quick closing sectionals to score here within this distance range last start. She overcame a traffic problem to do so and natural improvement can now be made at only her second run in a race. ON MY COMMAND stuck to her task in defeat when she attempted to lead throughout at Grafton last start. Stepping back in distance from 1205m should not now be regarded as a minus. EVIL LOVER must not be harshly judged for an unplaced latest Port Macquarie effort when there were excuses on the day.
