SIMPLY EXCELS moves from Tony Gollan stable. Jumped out solidly against Boonie who is a good BM70 metro sprinter and Will Gordon sticks with him on raceday. OUR LITTLE STAR ran along at a strong tempo in last start win running in fast time, and was quicker than both BM56 winners. Tinker with the gear to a more controlling bit to help her pace it a bit better. 6th best last 600m of the meeting last start despite running it hard. TANGOETTE rushed home late in a genuinely run 1000m and no surprise her last 800 and 600 were the best of any runner on the day. THE KILL CLUB was well in the market when resuming, but these days her recent form suggests dry tracks bring out the best of her. Bar plates on is a negative. Last 1100m run was beaten in super quick time at Ararat when part of the pace on a strong tempo.
