At the time of writing (Wednesday) the track is rated a soft 5 but with fine weather forecast an upgrade is expected. LIGHT WORK had little luck from a wide draw when confidently backed on debut. She's been given time to mature and was placed in the latest of two lead-in trials. WOOLCLASSER looked promising in his initial prep and must be kept very safe. LIGHT FORCE found form quickly last time in and draws to get all the favours. GEEGEES MERCEDES has the speed to lead these up and will take catching if able to control the tempo.
