BALMAIN DARLING showed plenty of promise in her first preparation and is expected to have matured during her time away from the track, with two solid trials suggesting she is ready to go. GAMBLER is a winner at this track and trip and, while he has struggled to add another win, this looks a suitable setup and the inside draw should give him every chance. HOWIE DO IT resumes after 22 weeks for his second preparation, having saluted at very short odds on debut and shapes as one who can only improve. HONEY PERFUME also returns first up after 27 weeks, has trialled well and can be in the finish fresh.
