Average field overall here. Happy to side with the debutant in ROYALTOWN, he was kept very quiet in his sole 800m trial but I loved the way he extended through the line. Straight to 1300m on debut tells me he's had another trial at home. Big watch. CENTRAL OTAGO strips fitter second up off an okay fresh effort, $2.00 seems very short though. In the mix and should find this slightly easier than last start. CLASSIC TOUCH has ability but is yet to put it all together, a soft track would be ideal now second up off a solid enough fresh run. MY MATE ELVIS fills in the blanks as a place chance only.
