State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 1-5-7-8
RHETORIC hasn't had much luck from wide draws at his past couple. He draws for a much economical run this time and is nicely in at the weights after the claim. He's capable of sharp improvement. PACIERA didn't have a tempo to suit when resuming for the new yard before finishing off hard to score second up. Former Waterhouse/Bott representative CANADIAN FLING found form quickly in her initial prep and bears close watching at her local debut. Former Victorian SALCHOW was never likely first up for the new yard but will appreciate the rise to 1400m.
