COUNT NICHOLAS has been having a great prep and was dominant from the front last start. I doubt he'll lead this time but there's no reason to think he won't be playing a role in the finish again. BLITZBURG didn't see out the mile in the Grafton Guineas but had been holding form well prior and is worthy of another chance back to 1400m. LIBERTY STEPS was back to better form when placing in the Mackay Newmarket and should again be strong when it counts. NAILS AND PRIDE had excuses at Ipswich two starts ago and has scored well at Gatton either side of that.
