At the time of writing (Thursday) the track is rated a soft 5 and with light rain expected race day there should be some give in the surface. SHOW'EM WHO'S KING wasn't far away at his first two outings before placing at surprising big odds last start. Take him seriously this time. BON RIVIERE was never likely at his 1600m debut before closing well over 1400m next try. The rise to 1800m looks suitable now. NARUKAMI was given little hope fresh but should get every chance to improve from the kind draw. IRISH HANDCUFFS did well to place off a wide run last time but again draws poorly.
