ALWAYS YOURS got back in a sit sprint o-pace race at debut, but was strong through the line and the extra trip here looks ideal. Winner of the race beaten in $250k c3 final Ballarat Cup Day. For the minors COLT FORTY FIVE comes through same race at the 9 and was genuine again sitting on pace. IMPENDING SWAN an improver up in trip after finding line solidly, and noting one swerved in front of her early in the straight. SERENE DEFENSE gave a good sight on pace on the big track at Geelong. Gets a good run. MISLIGHT last start "shocker" due to being in season. Previous run better barometer. PHOENECIAN being a staying prospect probably ok 1530m fresh on the big track.
