Small field, good race. NO NO NO NO threw race away last start when hanging in very badly towards inside fence. Blinkers go on, which is a major plus, and strong horseman entrusted with the ride. Third placed runner has since won. Ran meeting best sectionals for the last three splits on debut. FALSTAFFIAN wears blinkers for the first time, but looked good in them racing clear of nice stayers Shockletz and Thedoctoroflove in jumpout. Comes in fresh, but had excuses in first two starts, when running well. HYDROTHERMAL will be suited by the rise in distance. Left flat footed here on debut when the sprint on, but made good ground and ran quick last 600 and 400m. Race experience on the undulation here is advantageous. THE MAILER was held up for runs in his most recent from the 400-200m, then had to wait to come around rivals. Should be at peak after three runs. MONEY WHEEL next best.
