State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 6-11-5-9
Plenty of debutants make this a tricky race. READY AS BAM has been a model of consistency in his five starts. Will not get a better chance to join winners stall and although drawn wide he goes on top. BOLD GEM showed good speed on debut and only run down late this track. Drawn to be in first couple and she can go one better. PINOT PIRATE is a debutant from the Munce camp. Won three of last four trials and looks smart enough while MONTAGNOLA comes off a strong trial win. Horror barrier but must not leave out.
