LOVE SPARKLES was running on very strongly at the end of 1900m last start, at only third run for Matherick yard, and looks ready for the longer trip, also noting the drop from BM62 to BM56 in her favour. ABERLUTELY was well fancied last start and combination of being on pacer at the rear after slow start, the quick backup and/or 2400m produced sub par peformance. Bounces back if steps cleanly and A Kelly has ridden previously. MICKIO will appreciate getting back on firmer tracks on which he has registered all three wins including one here at the distance at only attempt. Last run on good track placed in BM62 1600m at Bendigo. IDLING BEHIND has won over 2050m and placed on good surface two starts back. Last run was in genuinely run event. PHOENICIAN ran well at 2200m third run from a spell and sure to advance again in fitness levels.
