INSTEAD has scope to improve after his very honest effort second up at Narromine when he was attempting a step up to this trip on the day. SEVEN MILE MISSILE became unsuited in transit here last start before he refused to shirk his task in defeat. He can atone today without causing a surprise. DUNEDIN performed well above market place expectations here when he stepped up to tackle this trip. He's race-fitter for 1600m now! KIRK finished unplaced over this journey at Narromine last start but the effort was better than it appears at face value.
