With another very successful winter carnival behind us it's back to reality at Doomben on Saturday. Following a fine start to the week the track was rated a soft (5) at acceptance time on Wednesday morning, with 0-3mm forecast Thursday through Saturday there is no reason in the world for this track to be rated anything other than good. This opening race looks quite competitive with a few different form lines to sort & I honestly could lean a number of different ways. HIDE THE PIERATA was very good first two starts before completely forgivable the latest. I'll side with her.
