State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 5-1-3-6
PIERRE LE QUILL comes to the Territory for the first time. Form in Victoria was consistent having been placed in last two country starts. This a winnable maiden and if he brings that form would win this. ASK YOUR MOTHER is another that comes north from the souther state. May find best over bit further but he has been placed fresh and must respect. MACAVERTY made some good late ground to be just out of placings here last start. Form good enough for this while PRINCE OF SPARTA was beaten less than a length here last start and he can sneak a minor spot.
