This looks a good race for GOLDEN SPRITZ 3rd up. Nothing wrong with his run at Bendigo last time in a race that was stronger than this. His only other 1400m start produced a close 3rd in a handy race on a soft track. Like the freshen for SOTOMAYOR back to 1400m. He was flying before the 2000m fail. There are no convictions on rain affected ground. JEWEL BAY races well here. His last start suggested he might be looking for 1400m now. HONEY MAKER is very fit and never far away. Luke Nolen sticks with her. If they can run on then ALZARO is going well enough. LOTTAROC has returned well. He gets in light again. That may not end it.
