State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 4-9-3-1
TRUANT has the advantage of race experience. Battled on well when placed first-up and will strip fitter from the effort. LOCARD is an interesting runner resuming. She took on a couple of hot races at first prep and just battled. This much easier and expect improvement. STRIKE PACKAGE is a debutant from the Freedman stable. Looked smart winning recent trial at Caulfield Heath and he looks ready for the racetrack. LONNEGAN looked smart winning his most recent jumpout. Bred for speed and expect he will be well supported on debut.
