Conveniently CRUSADING NIGHT, THE REGENT and DON'TDOUBTDAGOOSE jumped out together at Werribee July 17. Having his fourth jump out for the preparation, THE REGENT had the honours over CRUSADING KNIGHT (his 2nd jump out). I doubt there's much between them while DON'TDOUBTDAGOOSE wasn't too far back behind them given the easiest time late. ACTIVATING has shown plenty but wondered if he preferred better ground. LA REINA VEGA was a short priced fav on debut at Seymour. That was testing ground and she ran well being just no match for a more experienced rival. LADY PUISSANCE has the advantage of two starts under her belt this time around. 1425m was always going to suit her 2nd up and she was good. She might have SOULSEASE RIVER's measure. MS PORT MELBOURNE will win races but was keen to see her on dryish ground.
