DORADUS was responsible for a solid front-running effort in defeat here in this class and over this distance two weeks ago with Chad Schofield aboard. Expect him to maintain his form with Chad retaining the ride tonight. MAREBELLO was presented third up and at his second start since a stable change at Kembla Grange when he raced greenly late. Even so, his late sectionals suggest that a distance rise now aids his cause. TOKYO STAR finished unplaced here over this trip last start but her effort was better than it appears on paper. EMBALLEE can cause her own problems with a poor getaway but she's another who can appreciate a step up to 1900m this evening. DEALT was produced after an almost four week break when she stepped up to tackle this journey here last start. She's race-fitter now.
